Research Administration Management Portal (RAMP)
George Mason University has implemented an integrated research web-based system, RAMP, to support Mason’s growing research enterprise. This system reduces duplication of efforts and better supports faculty. It allows capture of research related data in one system improving reporting and data driven decision making. RAMP helps improve compliance with sponsor regulations and requirements through streamlined workflows and an automated reminder system. RAMP is comprised of seven modules including Grants, Agreements, Conflict of Interest/Conflict of Commitment (COI/COC), Safety, Institutional Review Board (IRB), Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC), and Payroll Certification (PayCert). All seven modules have completed implementation and are currently live.
